Cheap Paintball Masks

Getting your hands on a cheap paintball mask can be a little bit of a challenge, but I’m going to help you out a little bit here. I created a little widget above that lists some great masks that are of great qualities, but are also at pretty good buys. Amazon offers some great qualities, so I think it is the best place to get anything paintball related.

You’ll notice that there is a clown mask that you could be using to help protect your head. Everytime I see it, I laugh. I actually have a friend who plays with that and I literally aim for the head when he has it on. Well, I suppose that could be a warning for what other people will want to do to you. Expect to be a target with that type of helmet.

Personnally I used the JT paintball mask, which is listed as an elite headshield. It is about the best type that I’ve been able to find on the market and it has a lot of extra qualities that I really appreciate. First off, I think the helmet looks pretty good. It’s black, it does the job and has a sleek look. The other aspect that I like about it is that it is cheap. It’s about $25, which is nothing when it comes to this type of product.

I have friends that like the V Force Armor Mask and they have great things to say about it. It’s actually a pretty good buy at around the same price as the JT brand. It also has a pretty sleek look, but it doesn’t have a top to it, so if you get shot in the top of the head you’ll feel it. But really, how often will you get shot in the top of the head in paintball?

Personally I think $20 is really the lower limit when it comes to masks. The reason I say that is when you go cheaper you’re getting a lot less. Essentially most of the cheaper ones will have just a face mask and never really cover up your entire head like a helmet. That means you have an exposed ear and temple. You don’t often get flanked in this sport, but it can happen and I think it is sort of dangerous.

GXG makes a mask like this that you might want to get. It’s only around $12-13 for it, so you’re not spending much money on it. It does its job I suppose, but you’re going to have exposed areas of your head, primarily the back and the side of it.

There are a lot of other cheap paintball masks on the market that you’ll want to look into as well. Empire makes some pretty decent looking masks and helmets for this sport. Profiler also has decent paintball helmets as well. It’s up to you on what you go with. I recommend getting a full helmet, rather than just a mask for the front of your face. The cost difference is ten bucks, so it’s nothing. Amazon consistently has paintball masks for sale, so make sure you take a look at their site and find something that will suit you well.
